ENGONUS Tutorial: The Counter Feature

Hello and welcome back to another ENGONUS tutorial. ENGONUS is a Product as a Service solution, supported by SaaS and APP, designed to work with Industrial Grade IoT hardware. Today, we're going to explore the "Counter" feature.

What is the Counter Feature?

Located under the 'Products' tab in the left-hand sidebar, the Counter feature allows you to count your stock by warehouses, brands, and categories. It also enables you to perform partial and total counts. Unlike a regular report, this feature generates a CSV file, allowing you to manipulate the quantities either within ENGONUS or in another system.

Accessing the Counter Feature

To get started, click on 'Products' in the left-hand sidebar, and you'll see the 'Counter' option. Clicking on it will take you to the main view.

Main View Overview

Every time a count is performed, it's recorded. The main view displays a list of all the counts you've conducted. You'll see columns indicating:

  • Count reference
  • Warehouse
  • Category
  • Brand
  • Type (Partial or Total)
  • Status (e.g., in progress or completed)

Within this view, you'll also find a small icon that allows you to download the count in CSV format.

Creating a New Count

To create a new count, click on the button in the upper-left corner. A pop-up window will appear.

  • Select the Warehouse: Choose the warehouse for which you want to perform the count.
  • Count Type: Decide if you want a complete or partial count for the selected warehouse or location.
  • Partial Counts: If you opt for a partial count, specify the category and brand you want to count.

After clicking 'Submit', you'll be taken back to the main view where you can see the newly created count, complete with details. You'll also have the option to download the file.

And that's how you use the Counter feature in ENGONUS. Thank you for watching!
