Human Resources

In this tutorial, we will look at the function of Human Resources. From this option, we can manage the employees of our company. In the left side menu, in the HRM section, if we expand it, we will find:

• Departments
• Employee
• Attendance
• Payroll
• Holiday

If we select Departments, in the main view we will see different departments that come by default. We can delete them or change their names according to our needs and the structure of our company. This can be done with the “Action” button on the right over each department.

In the upper left part, we can add a new department.

In the employee section, we can register, delete or modify new employees in our organization and assign them a department. With the upper left button to add, we can add an employee; a pop-up window will appear where we can fill in different fields, assign a password for the employee to access, assign a period, and other data. As you can see, we should have created different permissions before if you want to assign a “role” or permission.

The Attendance section shows us the entry and exit hours of each employee. Therefore, each employee must mark their entry and exit time. This can also be done by the Human Resources manager or the Administrator, as can be seen, a status can be assigned.

Payroll is how much we pay each employee, where these amounts are fixed. Normally, access to this area is managed by the administrator or the Human Resources or accounting manager who is in charge of accounting for the payments, it is important to configure the permissions correctly.

With the upper left button, we can create a Payroll, assign a payment date, and to which accounting item it corresponds.

The Holiday section allows us to manage the dates when each employee can have vacations. This allows us to visualize when we will have each employee in our workplace and thus better organize internal processes.

The function of Human Resources is important as we will have a global view of all our employees and their relationships with other areas like accounting and payment planning, production, and much more.
