Role Permissions
ERP > How Do I StartWe find this function in Settings. It is one of the most important functions from a user hierarchy perspective. It is as if we were giving our users access to certain areas of the system and not to others. We recommend that before configuring this area, the access and roles of the users who are going to work in the system should be planned.
When we access the left side menu, in settings, in Role Permissions, in our main view we can see the list of users and their roles.
On the right side, over the user, we can edit and change the Role.
If we edit it, we will see a pop-up window where we can enter the details.
If we click on the option to change permissions, the panel with all the possible permissions that we can grant to the group we are editing will appear.
Multiple combinations can be made for each group profile; we must set the permissions that best suit the group of users we want to include in that group.
There are four rules, for each function of the system we can grant permissions to delete, edit, view, and add.
As you can see in the panel, you have the possibility to manage permissions of all the functions of the ERP.
We can mark permissions for each of the functions or we can do it all at once for all with the upper checkbox "Admin Group Permission".
As in all views, we have the possibility to export these lists in CSV or other formats if we want to work with massive data.
For example, we can create a group of customers by zones, which will later be useful for evaluating sales by zones related to a salesperson.
When editing a group or creating a group of roles, we recommend creating descriptions that can later be used by other users. Given that the system has many options and will be used by several users, it is advisable to always have everything well explained in detail.
In this example that we are looking at, we are creating permissions by departments, for example, the accounting department.
When we have everything, we just have to hit "Submit" and everything will be set so that the roles apply to each user.
