POS

POS is a function that allows us to have a cash register at our physical point of sale.

In the left side menu, under sales, we will find this function. When we select it, the typical screen of a cash register screen appears in the main view.

The products that appear are the ones we have registered in our warehouse. On the product sheet we must have marked this product as “Feature” so that it appears available in the POS.

We have the area where the available products are, we have on the right side the products that are being added.

We must select the warehouse, the seller, and the customer. This means that we must have previously created these users within our system. If it is a cash register where the clients do not identify themselves, in this case, we can create a client called “Cash” for example and always use this client for occasional clients who do not want an invoice. This does not mean that the system will not apply the corresponding tax, this is because in many businesses, purchases do not require a personalized invoice, just a receipt.

Once we have added the product, the next thing is to create the payment for the transaction. As seen in the image, we have several payment methods available. In this example, we are going to select “Cash”.

When selecting this option, a pop-up window appears, we must specify the units of currency that the client gives us, and the system calculates how much we must return to them.

This is our POS function. It is very useful for those businesses that have a physical point of sale.
